Chuck is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Staten Island. After earning a degree in Philosophy at the University of Colorado at Boulder, he landed on the shoreline of Connecticut where he lived and worked for the next ten years. During that time Chuck recorded 4 studio albums and toured the national club and festival circuit as a solo singer/songwriter garnering awards and accolades along the way. In 2011, Chuck was appointed the Official Connecticut State Troubadour. Akin to the Poet Laureate and appointed by the same department, this positioned him as the ambassador of song for the state. Meanwhile, Chuck co-founded the acclaimed indie-folk duo THE SEA THE SEA with his partner and fiancée Mira Stanley. So far, together they have recorded a critically-acclaimed album and toured the country performing in clubs, festivals and theaters. Chuck and Mira also co-founded CT Sings a statewide songwriting project which launched their work as songwriting workshop facilitators leading hundreds of workshops throughout the country since.
